How to play
- Story Mode: play an 8-stage medieval campaign. Clear a stage to unlock the next one on the map.
- Battle Mode: pick a difficulty (Easy, Medium, or Advanced) and fight The Machine in a full-deck duel.
- Deploy and reveal: each turn you draw a card and deploy pieces onto your home ranks. Pieces are placed hidden; revealing a piece uses your action for the turn.
- Move and capture: pieces move by familiar chess rules. Capture the enemy king to win — or lose your own army first.
- Settings: from the main menu, open Settings to adjust sound, music, animation speed, board highlights, and accessibility options.
Common questions
- How do I win? Capture the enemy king, or in some stages remove the opponent's entire army.
- Is it online? No. The game is fully offline and single-player against The Machine or in local pass-and-play.
- Do I need an account? No account, login, or internet connection is required to play.
