Summary
Markdown Rocks - MD Rocks is a local-first Markdown editor and reader. It does not collect, does not store on servers, and does not share any personal data. Your documents live exclusively on your device and are never sent to the internet.

This app is maintained by Platform Rocks LTDA ("Platform Rocks"). For privacy matters, contact contato@platform.rocks.
2. Data we collect
None. Markdown Rocks does not collect personal data, does not require sign-up or login, has no user accounts, uses no analytics, shows no ads, and does no tracking. This corresponds to "No data collected / No data shared" in the Google Play Data safety section.
3. Your documents
- Documents you create are stored in the app's private local library on your device. Documents you open from other apps ("Open with") are read only after your explicit action and imported as a local copy. The app never scans or accesses your files without your action.
- Document content, titles, folder names and search terms are processed on the device only and never transmitted, logged, or shared by the app.
- Sharing a note as a .md file uses the Android share sheet and happens only when you start it; where that file goes is controlled by you and the app you share it to.
- Links inside your documents open in your system browser only when you tap them. The app adds no tracking to those links.
4. Permissions
The app requests no sensitive permissions: no location, no camera, no microphone, no contacts, and no broad storage access. The standard Android INTERNET permission is declared by the underlying framework, but the app makes no network requests and transmits no content.
5. Children
Markdown Rocks is a general-audience productivity tool and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone, including children.
6. Deleting your data
All app data is local. You can delete documents individually in the app, clear the whole library in Settings, or remove everything by uninstalling the app. See Delete account / data.
7. Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes in a way that affects privacy (for example, adding optional sync), this policy will be updated first and the change will be reflected in the store's Data safety declarations.
