Summary
Pocket Toolkit is a fully-offline utility app. It does not collect, does not store on servers, and does not share any personal data. The app has no internet permission and makes no network requests, so nothing it reads can leave your device.
1. Controller
This app is maintained by Platform Rocks LTDA ("Platform Rocks"). For privacy matters, contact contato@platform.rocks.
2. Data we collect
None. Pocket Toolkit does not collect personal data, does not require sign-up or login, has no user accounts, uses no analytics, shows no ads, uses no advertising ID, and does no tracking. This corresponds to "No data collected / No data shared" in the Google Play Data safety section.
3. Sensors and hardware
Several tools use device hardware. Each permission is requested only when you open the tool that needs it, and everything the tool reads is processed on the device only and never transmitted, logged, or shared:
- Camera — magnifier, mirror, inspection camera, on-device text reader (OCR) and AR distance. Frames are shown live and processed on the device; the app saves no photos or video.
- Microphone — the sound-level estimate. Audio is analyzed on the device in real time to show a decibel estimate and is never recorded or stored.
- Location — the coordinates and GPS-speed tools. Your position is shown on the device and used for those readouts only; it is not transmitted or stored beyond the current session.
- Motion & position sensors (accelerometer, magnetometer, barometer) — levels, compass, tilt, altimeter and magnetic-field tools. Read on-device only.
- Flashlight / camera torch — the flashlight, SOS and strobe tools control the torch LED only.
4. Text recognition (OCR)
The small-text reader recognizes text from the camera entirely on the device using a bundled on-device model. Images and recognized text are not uploaded and are not stored unless you explicitly save a note.
5. Local data you create
- Saved measurements (notebook), calibration profiles and favorites are stored in the app's private local storage on your device.
- Exporting or sharing a saved item uses the Android share sheet and happens only when you start it; where that file goes is controlled by you and the app you share it to.
6. Children
Pocket Toolkit is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone, including children.
7. Deleting your data
All app data is local. You can clear saved notes, calibrations and favorites in the app's Settings, or remove everything by uninstalling the app. See Delete account / data.
8. Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes in a way that affects privacy, this policy will be updated first and the change will be reflected in the store's Data safety declarations.
